Mr. Hawes: There are a number of things. Many are discussed in a research report that we just released, called 'Enterprise Portals: A Total Market Perspective.' It covers typical things like market sizing, but really focuses on market trends and some of the business drivers that are causing companies to deploy portals. It's pretty in-depth and it's big '- about 90 pages. One of the big trends is that deployers of portals are looking more and more for the portal to be an interactive environment. So rather than dealing with a static information kiosk, what they really want is a place where they can collaborate and interact with not only information and applications, but also with other people.
TWST: Other people within the organization?
Mr. Hawes: And without. We've seen a growing number of extranet
portals that are, again, not only meant to provide information to
suppliers, business partners and customers, but also, in many
cases, allow people to conduct transactions or to work on a
project together right in the portal.
