TWST: Let's start with a brief historical sketch and introduction to Blonder Tongue Laboratories?
Mr. Skolnik: Blonder Tongue Laboratories is a designer, manufacturer and a supplier of a comprehensive line of electronics and systems equipment for the cable television industry, which includes both franchise and non-franchise or private cable. The company was founded in 1950 by Ben Tongue and Isaac Blonder to design, manufacture and supply a line of electronics and systems equipment, principally for the private cable industry. The actual Blonder Tongue Laboratories, Inc., as the company exists today, was incorporated in 1988 to acquire the company at that time. We went public in December 1995.

TWST: Have your retained the same focus all the way through, the design, manufacture, and supply to the industry?
Mr. Skolnik: That is correct. That's exactly what we do and that's what we are known for.

TWST: Can you describe the competitive environment for us and how Blonder Tongue is positioned within this space?
Mr. Skolnik: It depends on which markets we are specifically referring. When you are dealing with private cable, our competitors are privately held companies. So it's very difficult to get a lot of financial analysis about them. In the franchise cable market, our competitors are much larger Fortune 500 companies, but we don't really deem them to be competitors. The challenge is finding companies willing to spend money on our products.
