TWST: May we start out with a history and overview of the company?
Mr. Divatia: Aarohi Communications was founded in mid-2001 to develop highly integrated system-on-a-chip solutions for a new generation of storage networking systems. Aarohi is headquartered in San Jose, California, with about 50 employees, mostly engineering, and also maintains a development center in Bangalore, India. We have built a strong management team with experience across the systems, software, storage and networking industries. Our Storage Processor product line is optimized to address the need for simplified enterprise storage management and large scale storage consolidation.

TWST: Is there anything like that available today?
Mr. Divatia: Not really. First generation Storage Processors are designed primarily for the emerging IP Storage market with TCP/IP offload engines (TOE) and protocol mediation between fibre channel and Ethernet connections. Aarohi Storage Processors not only address the multi-protocol requirement, but also provide capability to handle storage application processing as well as 10Gbps fibre channel and Ethernet. These additional functions simplify enterprise storage management and improve network scalability by enabling storage applications, currently isolated to individual hosts or storage arrays, to be redistributed into the fabric. By centralizing storage management applications, a variety of storage resources from multiple vendors can be consolidated and managed with fewer resources under the same management umbrella.
